Bea was found as a stray when she was a kitten. As she got older, she liked being in the hospital so much that they let her stay. She is playful and curious, and her team loves having her around her. Bea loves to put her foot in the cages of the other animals and greet them when they enter.

“We make sure that if an animal comes in, it’s used to cats, and the owner is okay with it coming in,” The Hospital Cats told The Dodo.

He often sits in front of the cage for 10 to 20 minutes before screwing up to make sure they are okay and happy.

“I like to think she understands ‘Hey, I’ve been there before.'” She just sympathizes with them.”

The workers say that she is great with the other animals and the other animals trust her.

Another cat named Peggy arrived at the hospital under similar circumstances and workers noticed that Bea was putting her foot in the cage, wanting to play with her. That’s when the hospital decided to keep that cat too. Peggy and Bea have become best friends. Bea and Peggy do everything together at the hospital, from sleeping together to wrestling and even smashing birds on the computer screen.

Bea trained Peggy on a way to greet new animals and how to make them feel at home by waiting by the cage and eventually goofing off to say hello.
