If you have ever been curious about how a body like Arjun Kapoor’s is built; building pure lean muscle like Vicky Kaushal, or looking like the Greek god Hrithik Roshan, you might be inclined to believe they spend all day in the gym. However, in addition to exercise, there is another component that is often overlooked, diet. These actors may spend a couple of hours lifting weights or running on the treadmill, but have attributed their physique to eating a healthy diet at the same time.

Celebrities live a hectic lifestyle and need to maintain their health despite what the role may demand. And so, Arora customizes your meals and diet plan to best meet your needs. Here’s a look at some of the other celebrity diets selected by Akshay.
- arjun kapoor
Arjun Kapoor divulges: “I am a huge fan. It has always been my place of comfort, so it was very important for me not to feel dissatisfied with my meals.” His diet consists mainly of four clean meals, amounting to 1,200 kcal per day. For breakfast, he usually eats a high-protein breakfast that helps keep him satiated. His lunches are more or less balanced by nature. Prefer snacks rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA) and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA). His dinner is usually low in carbohydrates and rich in fiber and protein.
- katrina kaif
Another celebrity on the list of entrepreneurs is Katrina Kaif. She is one of the most well-known fitness freaks and someone who never compromises on her fitness. We recently got a diet insight from her and that included Khao Suey, homemade coconut milk, homemade buckwheat soba noodles, soy cured egg, bean sprouts, shimeji mushrooms and chili oil. Sounds very healthy, doesn’t it?
- Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan generally follows a three-meal pattern, comprising breakfast, lunch, and dinner, except for an occasional afternoon snack. He likes to start the day with a protein-packed breakfast followed by lunch, for which he prefers carbohydrates in the form of wild rice, quinoa, and starchy vegetables, along with a substantial amount of protein and fat. He steers clear of carbs at night and instead chooses high biological value animal proteins, along with some micronutrient-packed vegetables. “I believe in listening to what my body wants. That’s all,” jokes the actor.
- Shahid Kapoor
Shahid is a celebrity with extraordinary physical transformations, and yet we surprisingly saw him eating the Chef’s Sweet Potato Patty, Coconut Yogurt, Date Hot Sauce, Garden Vegetable Hot Sauce, and Pumpkin Seeds.
- vicky kaushal
Vicky’s meal plan depends on the movie she is currently shooting and the type of physique her role requires. On typical days, she consumes about 3,500 kcal, broken down into 30% energy from fat, 25% protein, and 40-50% carbohydrate. “Getting in shape and keeping fit is very important if it’s for a role that requires me to be a certain way. It becomes so much easier when you have your diet figured out,” said Vicky. The Punjabi Munda, who is a foodie, likes to curb his cravings and we recently spotted him eating a Peruvian mango and avocado salad with yuzu honey vinaigrette. Appetizing, right?
- karan johar
We also got a glimpse of director Karan Johar’s chef-prepared diet, which included homemade millet waffles, cocoa butter and walnuts, raw maple, and berries. That gave us a sweet tooth!
