Marianna welcomes 850 Nutrition and Atta Baby Boutique | Local

By Kay Dennis City of Marianna

Last year, Kayla Prowant Attaway opened 850 Nutrition in Marianna. The business features Herbalife Nutrition shakes and metabolism-boosting teas.

Relax in the bright and cheerful atmosphere of the café and escape with a summer treat. The delicious shakes are only 145 calories and are served in a mug with positive sayings. Sweetened only with Stevia, this is a great option for diabetics because all of their products have a low glycemic index. “It’s a healthy option for people,” Kayla explained.

I tried the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake, which tasted like an ice cream shake. This was definitely the tastiest protein shake I have tried to date. The Sea Salt Caramel Oreo Cheesecake Shake looked delicious too. Then try their iced coffee with just 100 calories, 2 grams of sugar, and 15 grams of protein. Finally, who could resist Kayla’s delicious low calorie snack replacement donuts?

Smoothies are served with a refreshing, stimulant-free tea that boosts metabolism. The drink is not the traditional tea that you can see in the store. Instead, it comes in flavors like strawberry lemonade. Trainer Kayla asks one to consider whether she likes sweet or sour candy before selecting. “The teas will give you energy and focus while renewing your digestive system.” If you feel dehydrated, try the “Hang Over Tea”. According to Kayla, the amount of electrolytes in this tasty tea is equivalent to three sports drinks.

If you are in a hurry, buy their affordable products and treat yourself at home. Kayla explained, “If you make the products at home, you will only spend $2-3 per meal.” She continued, “In the long run, it has saved me money because my grocery bill was cut in half.”

The trainers at 850 Nutrition are ready to provide a free consultation to individualize the perfect plan based on needs, whether a client wants to gain, lose or maintain their weight. “We have some clients who don’t get enough vitamins and minerals in their diets,” Kayla continued. “We can help with that too.”

The cafe also has a new product called “Fat Release” that can be used with high-fat meals. “It’s a sweet, like a pixie stick, that can be eaten in addition to what you’re eating, and it will help you release all the fat when you have a cheat meal.” However, Kayla pointed out that you shouldn’t take Fat Release all the time. “In general, if you’re trying to lose weight, we want you to eat every two to three hours with the right things,” added Kayla.

If you’re skeptical about the products, be sure to meet Kayla, who is the picture of good health and lost 72 pounds in six months by replacing two meals a day with a smoothie and tea, eating healthy snacks and a nutritious dinner. She is happy to brag that she has maintained her weight loss for two years. Check out the pictures of her in the cafe! Just a few months after starting 850 Nutrition, Kayla is opening Atta Baby Boutique within the same building. “I have two kids and I get tired of buying expensive items,” Kayla began. “I feel like in the area we’re in, we’re seeing things that are priced higher than they should be, and I wanted something that was cute and affordable clothing as well.”

Kayla admits that going to the market and finding the right providers takes time, but she thinks it’s worth it for the community.

The boutique offers clothing sizes in fashion for boys and girls, from newborn to 6T. Kayla adds that during the holidays, one might see other sizes. Check out casual, sports, church and party wear, and don’t forget to check out swimwear.

Kayla is excited. “It’s been fun so far. We can buy a lot!” With so many moms having different style ideas for their kids, Kayla is always on the lookout for the latest trends. She shared that girls’ flared pants and camo styles are popular for both boys and girls. Also, watermelon and lemon styles and fabrics are cute for the summer season.

Atta Baby Boutique also offers good quality shoes. “We have a brand called Parkers,” Kayla explained. “They look like ‘Hey Dudes,’ but they’re a quarter of the price and better quality.”

The boutique offers teething and stackable items for babies and toddlers. If you’re shopping for your newborn or for a baby shower, check out baby blankets, newborn smocks, and newborn games. Don’t forget the fashion pacifiers and pacifier holders.

When you’re shopping, look for Universal Spill-Proof Lids for snacks and beverages. “They will go in any cup,” Kayla continued. “Instead of buying hundreds of short cups, you can buy one of these, and they fit in any cup you have in your house.” Kayla also has teething supplies made entirely from medical-grade silicone, “not just the pieces, but the whole set.” Kayla added: “Silicone feels great on her gums.”

Stay tuned for a grand opening closer to back-to-school time. Kayla plans to have school supplies available for all ages, including backpacks.

Everything in the boutique can be found at attababyboutique.com. Everything on the website is available in the boutique. You can order from the website and choose local pickup or delivery. Follow the website for changes in schedules and styles.
