Rujuta first explained what is sattu?

According to their post, it’s a delicious and clever mix of chana dal, gehu (wheat), and rice flour (depending on which region you come from). He said it’s what nutrition love stories are made of. “#Plantbaseddiets, as they like to call it in the US, sattu provides the body with minerals like calcium, vitamins like folic acid, and essential amino acids like lysine,” adds Rujuta.

Here are the top three reasons why you should have sattu:

1) Reduces menstrual cramps and clots

2) Surprisingly, this food also helps you get rid of dark circles under your eyes.

3) Sattu also helps reduce pigmentation and hair loss.

Rujuta also added a special note with the post.

He said that Teej, a festival celebrated during shravan, is rooted in the concept of sustainability. It is the monsoon season when many communities do not eat green leafy vegetables like palak, etc., and also do not eat fish or meat. So that is the reason sattu was invented to meet the body’s requirements for folic acid, amino acids and minerals.

She wrote: “Diversity is a built-in system in our society and culture and it’s time we proudly own it.”
