Ingredients

*A cup of rolled oatmeal
*Half a cup of rice flour/chickpea flour
*One medium beet
*Two to three green chilies
* One inch ginger
*A teaspoon of jeera/cumin seeds
* Salt to taste
*Water as needed

Prescription

* Boil or steam beets. At the same time, roast the oatmeal for two to three minutes.

*Once roasted, crush the oatmeal together with rice flour and jeera into a fine powder.

*Next, add the boiled beets, green chillies and ginger in a blender along with a little Water and grind to a smooth paste.

* Now, mix the dry and wet ingredients together. Add water (about 1½ cups) until you reach your desired consistency. Let stand for 5 minutes.

* Lastly, do dosas/chillas in a hot tawa.

*Serve with yogurt or chutney of your choice.
